In return to the scripture found in II Chronicles 7:14

"In return to the scripture found in II Chronicles 7:14"
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
 
The clarion call to prayer is to a specific targeted group of people . . . "those who are called by His name." It is not to the political arena, not to the nation nor is it to the world. It is readily apparent the call to prayer that will heal our nation is to God's people exclusively, and the healing we need will come in no other fashion.
 
Without taking ourselves too seriously, at the same time we must realize that we play the pivotal role in the healing of our particular nation in which we reside. This places the responsibility for the spiritual climate directly upon our shoulders.
 
The call is not to just a few spiritual people, but it is to ALL of God's people. Even more shocking in the verse is the call to God's people to do four specific things which include the following:
 
1.) we are to humble ourselves.
2.) pray.
3.) seek God's face (His face to face eye contact/not His hands).
4.) and turn from their wicked ways.
 
If God's people follow these four simple steps which are very reasonable, then God promises to heal the land. While the first three steps are easily understood by most of us, the fourth step is a bit difficult to process. It may come as a shock to us that God is asking His people to turn from their wicked ways. Again, we are not always certain to what length the umbrella of "God's people"  may extend, we may rest assured that we are probably included under that category. Only God truly knows who "his people" are.
 
Nevertheless, back to the fourth command in which God commands us to turn from our wicked ways, we find the real secret to revival. When God's people deal with their deeper issues of sins against the Spirit by repentance, whatever those particular issues may be for each of us, somehow the world is stirred to repentance. Our "turning from our wicked ways' is the catalyst to revival in the land. It is up to us, and it is within reach.
 
What is truly sobering concerning this fourth point of turning from our wicked ways, is that God's people are often totally unaware of the need to do so. When we awaken to our own need for repentance, something is triggered that brings conviction in our communities among a host of unregenerated individuals. May the Holy Spirit speak to each of us personally about what He has in mind when the Spirit says, "and turn from our wicked ways."
 
It may well be easier for to execute the first three points of the prayer mandate in II Chronicles 7:14 than it is to accomplish the fourth point. Yet, the fourth point is probably the very most critical to "healing the land."

Sorry to know about the experience our member (LightBringer) has with MyYearBook.

The posted information was quoted from MyYearBook. It is possible (like other social networks online) that some people will not find a particular website to be the best place for them. Others younger or older my like the features.

I just joined this week to share interesting information as I have been doing at other places on the internet. I sincerely hope no one will "harass" me on that site. But as I said, some people will like it while others may just say it may not be for them. Millions seems to like it.

I guess "different strokes for different people" applies.

Dr. Conrad Murray was in dire financial shape when he signed on as Michael Jackson's personal physician earlier this year at $150,000 a month.
